Too little sunlight and too much toxic screen light. Deal with both parts every bit helps.

There are two parts to this;

  • Too little sunlight
  • Too much toxic screen light

It’s important to deal with both parts. But you don’t have to be perfect – every bit helps.

First described 60+ years ago by John Ott, who figured out how to fix it. Then we invented mobile phones and wifi and made it all much worse.

  • Detox electrosmog, dirty electricity from your environment

What about blue-light blockers?

Screening out HEV (high-energy visible light) in the evenings can help to reset your circadian rhythm, it’s true. But this is my view:

  1. Mal-illumination means too much bad light AND too little good light; you need to deal with both.
  2. Indoor light can be 1/100th of full sunlight across all wavelengths. Do you want to deprive yourself even more?
